How
long is a piece of string? There is an implicate understanding that the answer
will be difficult to find in her typical deadpan manner Ceal Floyer proposes
the length of 36 frames of film. A conundrum, since we know standard 35mm
photographic film comes as 36 frames. Floyer turns the original problem on its
head, giving us a very concrete solution and leaving all questions unanswered.
